Food Obstruction Patient Action Plan Eosinophilic Oesophagitis is the leading reason why food can get stuck. This can be an unpleasant and even frightening experience. Some of our patients' community members shared that over the years, they have developed social anxiety going out. It's frightening when food gets stuck, and people try to thump me in the back, but it doesn't work with EoE. They think you are choking. What People Ask When Food is Stuck in The Oesophagus What should I do? When should I do it? Why has this happened? How can I help to stop it from happening again? We are delighted to provide you with our patient and carer Food Obstruction Action Plan to equip you with answers. The Plan will be helpful for all those diagnosed with Eosinophilic Oesophagitis, their carers, family and friends. We advise you to print out a few copies and hand them over to your closest circle, so they can have peace of mind when going out.
