About ESPGHAN

ESPGHAN is a multi-professional, non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the health of children, with a particular focus on the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and nutritional status. It achieves this through knowledge creation, the dissemination of science-based information, and the promotion of best practices in care.

Innovative treatments and research discoveries are continually emerging in our field, and the ESPGHAN Meeting remains at the forefront of education and knowledge exchange. The community is dedicated to discovering, discussing, and sharing the latest advancements, using this knowledge to raise standards of care for patients and support paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition professionals in enhancing their practice.

EOS Network Advocacy Highlights

During the meeting, our team had the opportunity to engage in valuable conversations with over 300 healthcare professionals and were pleased to learn that many were already familiar with the EOS Network and our work.

Our network expanded by 37 new healthcare professionals, including doctors from countries such as Armenia and Lithuania. These new connections mean EOS Network is now represented in 59 countries, with our website accessed in over 160 countries worldwide.

It was encouraging to see the growing interest in Eosinophilic type 2 inflammatory Gastrointestinal Diseases (EADs) and a stronger understanding of the urgent need for multidisciplinary, holistic patient care.

Over the course of the event, we distributed more than 200 information resource packs and leaflets, raising awareness of eosinophilic diseases across the paediatric gastroenterology field.
