In support of #EAW Eosinophilic Awareness Week, Dr Falk Pharma UK is looking to increase public awareness by sharing real-life stories of living with EoE and the difficult experience of food bolus obstructions.

If you would like to share your story please find full details below:

Eosinophilic Oesophagitis Case Study Request Outline

We are currently working on a media awareness campaign to ensure that more people (including doctors) are made aware of and understand EoE so that patients can seek and obtain help as soon as possible.

Someone telling their personal EoE story, including their journey to diagnosis, their symptoms, treatment and crucially how EoE affected their quality of life is always the most powerful way to reach others, so to support our campaign we are looking for people to share their EoE experiences with the health media.

Please note: You will need to be over 18 years of age and diagnosed with EoE, preferably in the last two years. In addition, please be aware that you will be named in the chosen publication and sometimes the publication may require a photograph of you. However, you will be guided and supported throughout the process.

If you are interested, please contact Isla Whitcroft who is working with our campaign supporter Dr Falk Pharma UK in a patient and clinician education role. She will be delighted to hear from you at [email protected]

EOS Network's Food Bolus Obstruction Action Plan

In collaboration with our patient and carer community, global professional network and medical advisory board, EOS Network has developed a guide for what to do if you experience a food obstruction.

We know how scary these experiences can be, and our action plan is design to help answer:

  • What should I do?
  • When should I do it?
  • Why has this happened?
  • How can I help to stop it from happening again?

Download the action plan using the button below. You can personalise it online or fill it in after printing.
