  2. Clinical Trials Q and A

Clinical Trials Community Questions

Clinical trials are research studies involving people to test medical, surgical, or behavioural treatments. They are the primary way researchers determine if a new treatment, such as a drug, diet, or medical device, is safe and effective.

Participating in clinical trials can be particularly beneficial for those with Eosinophilic-Associated Diseases. These complex diseases can vary significantly in their symptoms and severity, making diagnosis and personalised treatments crucial.

Clinical trials provide access to new therapies and interventions before they are widely available and help improve the understanding and management of these conditions to improve future care.

Learn more about clinical trials with our webinars and the questions and answers our community members asked. Click on each question to expand the answer.

Karen Faulkner, Senior Research Physician, and Amanda Cordell, CEO and Founder of the EOS Network, provided answers.

The guest speaker and presentation have been supported by Synexus Clinical Research GmbH.
