This session will focus on the relationship between mast cells and eosinophils and what this means for patients living with EGIDs. Leading paediatric specialist Dr Joshua B. Wechsler (Children’s Hospital of Chicago & Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine) will explore how this complex interaction can influence diagnosis, symptom presentation, and future care pathways.

  • 1 hour: Presentation and Q&A with Dr Joshua B. Wechsler

  • 1 hour: Community Chat – a supportive discussion space for attendees to share experiences, ask further questions, and connect with others in the EGID community

  • This is open to individuals aged 18+ who are part of the EOS Network, living with, or caring for someone with an eosinophilic disease.
  • Teens are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
  • Healthcare professionals with an interest in EGIDs are also welcome to attend.
