We are delighted to share with you a beautiful Christmas concert by the Women in Harmony Choir led by Alison Benz.

We thank the 35 membered choir from Brightlingsea for singing in aid of our charity along with soloists including a member of our very own EOS Network community.

We hope you will enjoy this magical festive show and share the link with your friends.

Every donation will help us ensure everyone with an Eosinophilic Disease can eat without pain.

Why are Women in Harmony choosing to support our cause this Christmas?

EOS Network is the only UK charity supporting people affected by Eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases which occur in 1 in 3000 people in the UK although it’s thought to be majorly underdiagnosed with almost a third of our adult community suffering over 10 years of symptoms before getting a diagnosis.

The symptoms can vary from one person to another, and depending on age, and where in your gut is affected. This can include a child’s growth being affected through to suffering from lifelong pain, swallowing and difficulty eating.

Living with these diseases causes not only pain but also the social isolation of difficult highly restricted diets which affect the sufferer and the entire family.

What is EOS Network doing to improve the lives of the affected by these chronic life-impacting diseases?

The charity was originally founded by Amanda (a member of Women in Harmony) as a parent and family support group in 2005. Today the charity collaborates with over 230 global medical professionals and researchers alongside its community support hub.

Our aim is to ensure that every person with an Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disease receives a prompt accurate diagnosis, the right treatment for them, and support to live with their condition

Giving Thanks

We thank you all for you supporting our EOS mission and we wish you a Merry Christmas

We would also like to give thanks to the choir for their dedication and especially to their wonderful choirmaster Alsion Benz for navigating the covid safety measures, keeping them safe and of course for teaching them to make this beautiful sound after a challenging 2 years including zoom only rehearsals.
