About Us Meet The Team Our Team Your EOS Network Team CEO & Founder - Amanda Cordell Amanda is the CEO and founder of EOS Network. A patient advocate of 20 years having initiated the first UK Eosinophilic Yahoo support group in 2005. Completing the Eurordis Patient expert training in advocacy for rare disease research in 2018 has supported her ongoing role as the patient's voice within multiple national (BSG - BSPGHAN) and international (EUREOS - CEGIR) working groups and consortiums. At the heart of her inspiration are her two children with Eosinophilic disease, their difficulties in being able to participate in the basic function of eating and breathing without pain has been her motivation to strive for further understanding, support and treatment. Amanda is confident that by creating this community hub for patients, connecting global professional knowledge in Eosinophilic Associated Diseases, EOS Network and its members will together improve diagnosis, ongoing care and treatment for all affected. Read Our Founder's Story Communications Officer - Olena Filatova Olena has a rich marketing background spanning over 13 years, driven by her passion for content creation, social media, and storytelling. Her expertise lies in copywriting and digital marketing, particularly within the medical and wellness industries. She takes immense pride in making a positive impact in the community by providing valuable resources and support to those in need. Her own personal journey inspires Olena's deep-rooted passion for healthcare advocacy. In 2022-23, she engaged in humanitarian projects, focusing on assisting war victims with chronic conditions and providing a platform for them to share their stories. Olena is determined to create a thriving community hub that shares global professional knowledge in Eosinophilic Associated Diseases and connects patients, improving their quality of life. Trustee - David Cordell David is a patient advocate and father of two eosinophilic children. After spending the last 20 years reading any literature publicly available in order to better understand his children’s conditions, David is delighted to be able to be a part of EOS Network, ensuring families can be supported by receiving credible information. With a life long career in Engineering David considers everything is repairable if you know how and as such he supports the charities objectives in raising funds for research into finding treatments and a CURE for Eosinophilic Diseases. Trustee - Pippa Dennitts Pippa is an established HR Director, Board Member and qualified Executive Coach with demonstrable success across multiple sectors, including technology, business services, construction & renewable energy, manufacturing, HVAC & security, hospitality, recruitment, publishing, care and education. She runs her own coaching practice and HR consultancy working successfully with owners, directors and all areas of a business as necessary to ensure the right people behaviours, skills and knowledge are in place to grow their business. She ensures people perform at their best and that HR systems, services and initiatives are proactive, pragmatic and add value including everything from providing contracts, policies and other documentation to recruiting and establishing HR & senior teams and designing and implementing culture change approaches. As well as being Chairman of her local Parish Council, Pippa volunteers as an Enterprise Adviser supporting local schools with coaching and career development work. One of Pippa’s best friends has children affected by eosinophilic disease and is really pleased to be using her skills to support EOS Network with their life changing work. Trustee - Mark Boulding Mark had a long career in international healthcare marketing and advertising management, both client and agency side. He also held senior positions in the not-for-profit sector for over five years. Mark has been a trustee of the child mental health charity Partnership for Children for six years, serving as Vice-Chair and leading on strategic planning. He has mentored charity leaders through the Findacure and Pilotlight mentoring programmes. Trustee - Ben McGrath Ben (Bernard) McGrath is a charity accountant with over 30 years in the sector across a number of national organisations. He has extensive experience covering charity finance and management, including acquisitions and mergers. For the last ten years, he has been working for and advising charities on a range of financial issues using his wealth of knowledge of the charity sector. Ben has worked with various charity sector support organisations making representations to the government to improve the environment charities work in.
