In October our Chair and Founder, Amanda Cordell, gave a presentation on the Patient Perspective of EoE at the EUREOS Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Diseases Symposium. The symposium was attended by over 100 medical experts and researchers of eosinophilic diseases, and Amanda's talk gave valuable insight into the impact of these diseases from the patient's side.

In the presentation, she discusses an EoE adult patients journey and the preliminary findings of a public survey by EOS Network and Guts UK, this gave our community of patients, caregivers the opportunity to share a real-world insight into topics such as diagnosis, quality of life, current treatment satisfaction and access to medication.

We'd like to thank EUREOS for inviting us to represent the patient voice at this symposium, and to those in attendance and watching after for the encouraging questions and responses. Watch Amanda's full presentation above, followed by two talks from:

  • Marc Rothenberg - 'Eosinophilic gastritis and gastroenteritis: new insights into diagnosis and treatment'
